The Brooklyn Nets are seeking two first round picks in exchange for Brook Lopez.

Lopez is signed through the 17-18 season on a three-year, $60 million deal he agreed upon with the Nets in 2015.

After struggling with injuries earlier in his career, Lopez has played in 72 and 73 games in 14-15 and 15-16, while remaining healthy this season.

Lopez has also added a three-pointer to his offensive repertoire, hitting 36.1 percent of his 5.2 attempts per game.

The good news here is that if he is moved for picks, they will undoubtedly suck next season too.
Let's hope they settle and take a single first round pick and some scraps :)

Good luck with that.

Lopez is basically a scorer, an alpha dog who needs the ball. I don't think he fits the Celtics' needs up front--which are more along the lines of a Noel or Bogut. The need a rebounder/ defender. Lopez has never been a rebounder. Plus his salary is pretty steep. They had to overpay to keep him, as I recall. His feet are holding up healthwise, but he isn't the type of player to fit the Celtics' needs upfront.

I hope they can move him .......they will never get Celtics Net type first unrestricted picks.....he is not worth that ....... maybe some restricted first round  picks and a few decent becch players .

They won't find ANY one who can replace his size or scoring in the near future .  If they want draft picks ....that's GReAT news ...

That just helps tank them more .

Anyone they get in the draft will take 2 -3 years to score like Lopez does now.

If they trade him now .   They will automatically be the worst team for 2018 pick.

I can see the Pacers wanting him maybe or Bulls.

He can't defend a chair. Seriously, he really really sucks on the defensive side of the ball.
