He said he wants immediate help, that most likely rules out Bender.

I hope so but i`s take everything DA says with a grain of salt.

Sorry I keep coming back to Buddy Heild.  He's more NBA-ready than Bender, Murray or JBrown.  He is a good defender.  He has a really good outside shot.  He was well-spoken last night.

Given that no one expected Danny to take Terry Rozier with our first pick last year, I would say it safe to say no one has a clue what he is thinking at this stage on the #3 pick.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He wants Buddy Hield IMO.
Hield is like a winning version of James Harden and he's going to get better. He's got enough size, just enough athleticism and one of the best shots in the world.
We'll need to do a bit of work with Hield's defense but he won't be a negative defender.

I like Hield WAY more than Murray.

Murray is three years younger ( more upside ) almost as good of shooter and he can play the 1 or 2.  Murray is the best fit for the C's.  Just means they will probably move Smart, which is fine because the Guards need to be able to shoot.

Murray just doesn't have the athleticism for me to be a successful NBA SG.
Hield also has plenty of upside left.
Right now if Ainge is looking at these two, Hield is far more appealling IMO. I like Murray, I just think he's less of a 'sure thing' than Hield and his ceiling isn't high enough vs Buddy's to justify taking him with his athleticism and lack of explosiveness.

Judging by his history, he probably likes Buddy and Jaylen Brown.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I would love Danny to take either Buddy Heild, Jamal Murray or Jaylen Brown with the 3rd pick. Not Bender man that would be a disaster. I can see him taking Heild but Murray and Brown also on his radar. I think for this draft to be successful, he needs to trade some picks to get back into the top 10 and draft Skal this kid is a mirror image of Brandon Ingram. Here check out this video. Skal vs. Ben Simmons. Ben Simmons won't drive in on Skal Labisierre
