we do not see rj shooting in practice,a young rookie shooter has alot going on
-you can see the concentration in the last game by rj on defensive end
rj has to be thinking constantly on defence because of his weight, nba screens, speed and ability of opponents
,his defence against kings was very very good,he rebounds and blocks out
he has not been embarrased or abused and has often been disruptive with active hands and reach on help defence
he has penetrated and used his runner, has been intregal part of flow on offence, shown very good passing skills
he has rushed some shots from three but he comes off bench cold or sometimes just mopups but he has earned brads trust -minutes in 4th quarter against the spurs-the kid is a darn good rookie
the one thing i worry about is attempting to play hurt,he needs to be 100% as a rookie with his frame-anything that slows him down could be crucial on defence
forgot played zone in college, has to learn defencive sets ,learn players offence and defence, adjust to travel, play against bigs unlike any college experience, players with blinding speed and verticals like superman-and big time pressure
