Turner looks good because he has the ball in his hands all the time, he is still the same player that is top five in turnovers per 48, and can't hit a three pointer to save his life.

Actually, Turner has less turnovers per 48 than Russell Westbrook, Wroten, Carter-Williams, LeBron (a SF that also has the ball in his hands a lot of the time...), James Harden, Kobe, Derrick Rose, Wade, John Wall, Rondo, Bledsoe, Ginobili, Schroder, Steph Curry, Brandon Knight, Rubio, Ish Smith, Jeff Teague, Tyreke Evans, Jeremy Lin, Mo Williams and Jarrett Jack. To name a few...
And has the same numbers as Isaiah Thomas (4.1 per 48).

Oh, and post all-star Isaiah Thomas has over 5 and Turner 3.6

And his 2.25 assist to turnover ratio is better than Darren Collison, Shved, Jimmy Butler, Marcus Smart, Schroder, Jordan Clarkson, Westbrook, Carter-Williams, Le Bron, Wroten, Tyreke Evans, Wade, Kobe, Ginobili, Jarrett Jack, Derrick Rose... Again, to name a few. Tony Parker's 2.27

Oh, and his assist to turnover ratio climbs to 2.92 post all-star, when most of the time he spent on the court was as de facto PG (after Rondo left). In that period, that's also better than Reggie Jackson, John Wall, Rajon Rondo, Isaiah Thomas (1.98!), Steph Curry, Andre Miller, Damian Lillard, Mike Conley... Need I go on?

I won't contest the fact that he can't shoot a 3 to save his life. I didn't check, but I'm sure it's true.  ;)

He's had some very good games for us...does a lot of things well...maybe not as good a defender as Truth...had a few triple doubles very quietly during this playoff push....not a great deep threat as some have alluded to.

Good comparison of the two, though.

I think ET is good as our Sixth Man, but that's me. Brad Stevens sees him as a starter, even over Jae Crowder who I feel is the more complete player.

I think Evan's a fine player...a little too carless with the ball maybe.  I like him a lot.  Another great move by Danny.  Thank u Larry!!!  Evan just may be that crunch time replacement for PP.  Just maybe.

The Truth is Even Turner is exactly what he is!   A very good basketball player.   He will carve out a career  that he creates on his own.   Guy is very talented and getting better.

Geez,  do you think you could make up anymore condescending remarks about Evan Turner.  I'd hate to see where we would be without him this year!!!

Think he's an anomaly. He can be a 6th man that leads your 2nd unit, or he can get a major liability if you're system-oriented offense, as he needs the ball in his hands to make plays offensively (his strength). Not sure how to categorize him, though I do appreciate the game-winners he has given us this year. Seems to have definitely played hard all year and does clearly have strengths.
