Be nice to acquire an inexpensive guy like Sam Dalembert to start this year and bridge us until next summer. That gives us a full look at Colton, Faverani and whatever other FA C we may gamble on. Oden or Okafor, perhaps. Sign a few guys and see who emerges.

Rondo 13 million
Wallace 10.1 million
Green 9.2 million
Bradley 8 million
Bass  7 million
Anthony 3.8 million
Smart 3.2 million?
Olynyk 2.1 million
Sullinger 1.4 million
Faverani 2.1 million
Young 1.5 million?

Thats about 61.4 million.  Projected cap is 63.2 so if we keep Babb and Johnson or sign new guys to minimum contacts, we arebasically at the limit.

Now if Bradley only gets 3.5 million this year and the 8 million doesnt start til next year, I guess we would have around 4 mil to spend?  More likely we will just use the MLE to get a center.  I think it is 5.3 million this year.  The Bi-Annual Exception is 2.1 million.

Good post.  I actually can see how AB fits in now.   With possibly Rondo, Wallace, Bass, Green, and Anthony off the books eventually his deal looks like it's in line.    Still,  what a mess of a team Danny has created right now.
That Bass deal, for what he adds to the current roster, sticks out like a sore thumb.
for what he adds playing wise wallace has the sorer thumb

This simply NOT true.  Bass ranks 264th out of 437 in real plus/minus and GWall is 141st.  Wallace can still lock people up!!!!
