This in a way would make me happy...only because I really don't think Love is a good fit in Boston.

In fact of all the places he could go, Boston is probably the worst fit.  We already have multiple PF's who are young, good rebounders and mediocre defenders.  We have no rim protectors.  We have no go-to permitter scorers.  Also we are in rebuilding mode - not enough support to put around him to make us anything but a bottom tier playoff team.

Kevin Love is a good fit next to Rondo.  A big who is a perimeter scorer is an ideal partner, being able to compensate for Rondo's poor three-point shooting while being a weapon for Rondo's passing game.  Presumably one of Sullinger or Olynyk, if not both, go to Minnesota.  Getting a rim-protecting center would be the next step, possibly using the trade exception from the Nets or the mid-level exception.

Celtics send #6 and 2015 clippers first round to Orlando for #4 and select embiid, then send #17, our 2015 first round, 2016 nets first round, the pick we get from Philadelphia next year(either first round or 2 second round picks, Brandon bass, jeff green and if needed Kelly olynik or jared sullinger to Minnesota for kevin love. then go after LeBron or Carmelo in free agency. Starting lineup: Rondo, Bradley, Lebron/Carmelo, Love, Embiid.

Sorry but your finances don't work at all unless Melo ornd Lebron and Love and then Rondo the following year take HUGE discounts..  I guess it's nice to dream...

How do we get Harrison Barnes is the question?  Brandon Bass and 17?

I don't think that's nearly enough...

That assumes that Love would be the only significant addition to the roster over the next few years. That's obviously not the case. Bring in a rim protector and add a perimeter scorer and, presto, we're a great fit for Love and probably a contender.

Yeah. It makes sense. Love want to play in gsw, gsw want Love & they also get Martin who'll replace Klay. They have Curry, Martin, Iggy, Love, Bogut & that's a championship team.

Maybe DAs best shot to keep,Rondo ...is go,after the #1 pick

What's weird is that he's super confident that Golden State is the leader and they've agreed on the principles of the deal, but there is ZERO mention of it on his Twitter feed or on ESPN.Com...Is he speculating in the podcast?  If not, why would he not write this or tweet it out?  Just strange...Or, he's not confident enough.

It's pure speculation. No reporter is going to release a scoop or breaking news on a podcast, especially when it isn't their own podcast. In fact, I think they have contractual obligations to break news through ESPN proper; even if the B.S. Report is part of ESPN, they aren't going to have breaking news on it. Both Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose have intimated as much in the past.
