Nice to see Little Phil get some attention from the league. Some nifty passing throughout the year. I hope Ron Adams locks him in the gym until he hits the 3 regularly.

Right on. Pressey's been one of the highlights of the season, for sure. Would be happy with him as our fourth guard for the next few years.

he's doing ok for an undrafted player but he needs to make some improvements over the summer to his shot and his decision making.

for a rebuilding team, he's ok for a backup PG.

for a team that's on the rise to the playoffs and then title contention, he's not good enough at this point.  fortunately for him (and us) that's probably a couple of years away so he's got some time to work on his game but he's really got to make some strides in his game

I enjoy watching Pressey play, he's a great passer but I dont think he has any chance at grabbing a rotation spot to play on a contending basketball team in the NBA.

Pressey is shooting .280 from the field on a non-trivial sample of close to 200 shots this season. I'll be excited when we're able to upgrade his spot in the rotation to a real NBA player.

Since the 1980 season, only four players have shot below 29% with over 150 field goal attempts:  Pressey, Bobby Hurley, DeShawn Stevenson (twice), and J.R. Bremer.

If you raise the bar to 175 field goal attempts, the list shortens to just Pressey and Hurley.

That's impressive.

If he does have a chance, it will be by developing a reliable 3 point shot. Right now he is too short and a god awful shooter. If he can shoot three pointers reliably, he can be a serviceable backup pg on a non-contending team. That is his ceiling I think.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah, shooting is an issue (mildly put) - to the point that he passes up even the wide open ones. I like his vision, passing, handle and improved decision-making, though. If he manages the giant leap to a 34-35% 3 point shooter over the summer, he is definitely a keeper.  He brings pace to the second unit

A question: could somebody with more knowledge than me tell me if there is some kind of issue with his shooting technique? I see nothing really wrong, except the fact that the ball does not go in the hole.
