Oh, this trade also clears the way for us to sign a major scoring off guard in the summer of 2015.

I'd pull the trigger on something.  A Joe Johnson-Rodney Rogers, Tony Delk type trade but in reverse for us.

Barnes isn't getting traded here for less than Jeff Green and our 1st round pick this year (which, of course, is far too high a price to pay).

Bass/Pressey/Nets 2014 pick for

Barnes, Jermaine, Bazemore

They dont need Barnes with Draymon Green and Igoudala.  Bass backs up the 4, and Speights moves over to backup the 5 (until Ezeli is ready)

If G-State would do that, and we could get Barnes cheap, I would then try to dump Green and Wallace (with Clippers pick) on Phoenix for Okafor and a young throw in like Archie Goodwin.

Leaves you with Rondo, Bradley, Barnes, Sullinger, Olynyk, Faverani, Goodwin and thats it.  Rondo is the only significant salary, plus whatever you have to pay Bradley.  You dont have the Nets or Clips picks anymore, but you have a good group of 5 young players and you can add at least one major free agent and a likely top 7 pick to that core.

Phoenix is not taking on Wallace.  No chance.  Like zero.

We could give them far less than Green if we threw in 2 future first rounders.  Is Barnes better than who we'd get for the Clippers '15 and our '16 picks?
