Yes and No?

Yes if we have a legitimately sized two behind him who's a lights out shooter.

Bradley can play the two spot for sure and he will find a way to score and will most likely get better and better at that.

However, my main concern is that it just seems like players that are undersized (unless they are built like Charles Barkeley and are physical freaks strength wise, which is what Barkeley was) they are just eventually going to get broken down over the course of a season.

If Bradley was about 3 inches taller and 15 pounds heavier he's probably lock for the all star team at the two guard. Because he would be that much more effective defensively and offensively he'd have an easier time around the rim so he'd figure out the way to score.

So it's possible if we have the right supporting guard behind him when he's over matched - physically - he will never be over matched in heart.

No - because I just think he won't be able to hold up guarding guys like Kobe, Wade, Joe Johnson, etc.

Ideally, as someone mentioned he would be your ideal 3rd guard who can play spot minutes the point and the two and for long stretches at the two when the match up was warranted it.

But as someone else mentioned, I hope we can hang onto him long term. Having a guy like him coming off your bench at the 1-2 spots defensively is a real blessing.

If we could find a young Posey level defender that can play at the 2/3/4 positions and we also had Bradley - you can real put heat on other guys offensive weapons when needed.

Used to love to watch TAllen on Kobe / LeBron, etc..

  • You say when......
Most here say RONDO can't shoot....well AB has shown little as a shooter.....we would hasve been better off with TWILL in there......bigger, stronger, even better defender....

Bradley has shown promise in catch-and-shoot situations and could end up being reliably above-average in those spots.  I don't think he'll ever be a guy who you will rely on to hit jumpers off the dribble in isolation plays, but isolations are inefficient plays that should be avoided.

True...he has shown he can shoot..and his injuries stopped him from developing further.....I think ANYONE can become a shooter....esp pro's...BBD did it...sort of....well, as some said here...he should get plenty of chances this year.....if he stays healthy....it will be up to him....I hope he does well.....I agree on the iso's...never liked them..even for pp....I HATED when he did it.....it was so selfish and one sided...and it was easy to read.....if only pp could see an outlet pass and roll....he would be gone to the hole....so much easier....LOL...
