Yes, plus they will get to battle the Knicks and get revenge for this year's playoffs.  And I think I'll eventually win my "Deron is better than Rondo" debate.  This year will prove me right.  That team is going to be really really good if they stay healthy.

So if Deron wins a title with Lopez, Johnson and KG/Pierce that will make him better than Rondo?

That is absurd.  I'm imagining KG/Lopez will be a better combo than any the C's ever had during KG's time in Boston.

Pierce and Johnson reunited.  This was supposed to take place on the C's, many years ago.

I'm convinced this team will be a title contender, because there is an absurd amount of talent that might very well fit together quite well.  That whole starting 5 all love to play half court ball.  KG/Pierce will be defenders, while Lopez, Williams and Johnson will be scorers.

I'm glad that Pierce and KG will have a chance to contend together.

With that said, even if the Nets are clearly better than last year, I'm not that sold on their chances of truly contending or simply beating the Heat. An injury to KG or Pierce would basically cost them any chance and even if they stay healthy they will lack depth (and possibly chemistry but I think they will be OK in that regard).

Heading to ClipperLand would have been easier to swallow than a division rival. Something tells me the Nets will have a similar fate that the Lakers had trying to form a super team. The C's will then come out the real winners.

Yes, this was the best possible scenario for KG/ Pierce. Danny did a fine job taking care of his guys while also looking to the future. There's no way you can convince me that the nets are not a contender. They will be a 2 or 3 seed next season.

If they sign Kyle korver like rumored and resign blatche this will be the 9 man rotation for the year: Williams/Johnson/pierce/KG/Lopez/jet/korver/blatche/evans. They Need some depth behind PP but that's balanced and just a nasty team everyone is going to hate to play. Just wait until evans and KG are on the court together. Teams are going to hate the Nets.

I will be a Nets fan until Danny Ainge is fired!

Then why are you posting here? BYE BYE!

Because I have been here many years longer than you and I have earned the right.  Do you have any idea what the Celtics stand for?  Or used to stand for.
