I'm an avowed Brooks fan.  If you look at his production before his foot injury, he was more than solid.  Yes he played on a  garbage team, and yes most rookies on garbage teams don't play a lot of defense, but the guy is a scorer and has good size and athleticism for a SG.

brooks has a history of getting better every summer, today's brickfest nonwithstanding. I don't like the idea of helping the Nets put together a superteam, bit if the Cs can't get Lee, Brooks for a future number 1 is a deal I'd do.
