McHale/Parish was a decent duo, passable I suppose.

Malone was an MVP candidate for Houston, and Hakeem and Sampson was quite a duo.

Yeah man. Plus, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish.

McHale didn't play that much in the Malone series, it was more Max. And I'm as big a fan of the McHale/Parish duo as most, but I don't think that they were clearly better than Hakeem/Sampson that year.

Need to add a powerhouse rebounder.  This team was crippled by it's lack of rebounding, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

We could also use another big bodied pick setter.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

tough to rebound on offense when after a guy shoots everybody runs back on D. We need a rodman/barkley type though no doubt.

Yeah, they're pretty hard to argue with, even after all the injuries.

Anyway, my two cents is that we do, in fact, need someone who can post up and play the 5. Kind of like 'Sheed (Blazers 'Sheed, not "holy heck there's 22 seconds on the shot clock better hurl up a three" regular season Boston 'Sheed).

But is there someone like that on the horizon? Most of the newer players seem to play face up ala Timmy Dunks. Even Dwight doesn't really play the post, and while Bynum's getting there, he's still pretty raw.

Also, while I understand why they don't do it very often, I'd like to point out that Perk has been very effective posting up in the Thunder-Heat series.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Center isn't a need? I love the internet at times.

Center is a need. It's a major one. Rebounding is another.
