If Doc does this it could definitely be seen by the guys on the team as "Doc's giving up and developing the young guys." If the evidence for Moore playing is "we don't know much about him and it might work out so let's take a shot" it's not taking into account the chemistry of a team.

I'm no expert, but that's pretty much what I would do (although I'd give Sasha more time). Whenever guys are playing bad people start talking about how "anyone" would be better, even though the facts don't support it. It's a scratch ticket mentality. I think when making those decisions as a coach they can look like a stroke of genius when they work, but usually fall flat.
I'd rather gamble on something I know can work but hasn't (we've won 3 games in the series so it hasn't been a complete failure) than gamble on something I don't know if it can work and haven't tested.
