Remember all the Spencer Hawes love on this board in January and February?

Does anyone really want this soft 7 footer playing on the Celtics for big money anytime soon?

Ya i do. I was probably one of them, but please no lol Guy is gonna get a big payday from someone. Hope it's not us.

Hibbert and McGee will make the big big money.
I said this early in the year and stand by it, if there was a young big I would gamble big money on its McGee.

I said his problem was coaching and atmosphere and once he got to Denver and got that better coaching and atmosphere you saw a big difference. His performance against LA showed if harnessed properly he is a legit big man weapon.

I 100% agree.
I too hope McGee is Ainge's #1 target this offseason.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Great game guys! Celtics played really well today! KG looked silky, Rondo was so aggressive, and I am happy Bass drove more in the beginning.
I like Marcus Smart

The team that showed up tonight is a title contender and can go toe-to-toe with anybody.

Aggressive on offense.  KG playing in the paint, Rondo and Pierce attacking the rim.  Bad jumpshots were few and far in between.  Winning the rebounding battle - both KG and Pierce were huge on the glass, we need that.

Before this game, I couldn't remember the last time we forced another team into foul trouble.  We did that tonight, and it makes a huge difference.

Wonderful to watch.

When playing like THIS, we can beat ANYONE. No matter how good they play.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

Now for the bad news. We start over at zero zero Friday and get to find out what both teams are really made of. If Boston follows up with another strong win, then the Game two investment will have been worth it.

Um, we are up 2-1, so at the very least resetting the series we'd be up 1-0.

If we lose Game 4 then you can say it is 0-0.

I loved during a huddle when Doc was mic'd up he was preaching to everybody "Hey, it's all about defense. Paul, it's about defense. Hey Ray, it's all about defense"

And then KG out of nowhere gets his Doc on and hammers it once again "Hey, it's all about defense."

KG truly loves Doc and believes in him soo much if KG is back it won't be for any other coach but Doc and in Boston IMO
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

Funny you mention that timeout, the reason he was yelling that is that Rondo/PP had gotten a bit lazy on D and were focusing on running good offense after working a bit of clock.

Understandable when you're in near garbage time mode but not what Doc wanted to see out there.
