Remember all the Spencer Hawes love on this board in January and February?

Does anyone really want this soft 7 footer playing on the Celtics for big money anytime soon?

Ya i do. I was probably one of them, but please no lol Guy is gonna get a big payday from someone. Hope it's not us.

Hibbert and McGee will make the big big money.
I said this early in the year and stand by it, if there was a young big I would gamble big money on its McGee.

I said his problem was coaching and atmosphere and once he got to Denver and got that better coaching and atmosphere you saw a big difference. His performance against LA showed if harnessed properly he is a legit big man weapon.

I 100% agree.

Hard to measure intangibles with stats. Doc likes his energy, and his defense. As long as he keeps defending, Hollins will get minutes.

Pretty simple. Play with that sort of aggression, ball movement and urgency, and this team can play with anyone.

Shouldn't have to get this late in the season and have this many polar opposite performances from everyone not named Garnett, but we did.

And now the evidence is clear. No excuses. Play hard and mad EVERY time out.

They're shooting 62% and we're only down 5.

After the first two games I'm glad we're that close.

That was the whole key to the game - the first qtr. Philly continued their perfect play against the Celtics but only could muster a 33 - 28 lead instead of 35 - 17. Boston went out and matched them. Then they kept after them and finally wrested control in the 2nd qtr and pummeled them in the 3rd qtr. Game was essentially over but they still had to be careful not to get sloppy and let Philly back in the game. Good Job, Mission Accomplished for tonight.

Now for the bad news. We start over at zero zero Friday and get to find out what both teams are really made of. If Boston follows up with another strong win, then the Game two investment will have been worth it.

Scal has been great. I love how he asked a great question and Donny just piggy backed him and acted like he knew what was going on. I think I'd appreciate Scal more as a player if he became an announcer. He seems to real knowledgeable.

Maybe now people will stop overreacting. Is this the Paul Pierce that people wanted benched?

Just an absolutely crazy notion. Good job, Celtics!

Pierce set the tone early.  He was frightening.  Those two dunks were insane.  Then KG just carried that intensity over and DOMINATED.  This is seriously the best KG has ever played in Boston.  This was a nightly thing in Minny.  He was already past his prime when he arrived here.  But from 08-now... this is as good as I've ever seen him.  If he keeps this up, Pierce continues to be Pierce and Rondo continues to do ROndo things... we have a shot.
