Rondo for Tyreke. Why would we do this??? This is just bad. I'd rather really have Isaiah Thomas as my point than Tyreke (not saying I'll trade Rondo for him).

why would you have to put him at point guard? he's a 2.

How about explaining why this is bad instead of just saying bull****. Do you even know who Evans is?

And are people really saying Tyreke and Harrison Barnes to Rondo is trash? ****
This is the 1st time Harrison Barnes was mentioned, and he's still in college. The bottom line is you need to add Gerald Green and Kevin Pittsnogle to sweeten the pot.

acuiring Sac's pick gets us in a good position to snag someone like Barnes or Robinson

  • Rondo = Good
1 has no chance of happening.

2 is conceivable.  Rondo definitely fits with DMC (their franchise player, if they know anything) better than Tyreke.

I should say, to preempt those who would be quick to think ill of my opinions -- Rondo is a much better player than Tyreke right now, and I'm not sure by any means that Tyreke will ever be better.

I know Danny has had a high opinion of Tyreke in the past, though, so I could see this happening, perhaps.  I think Tyreke's rookie season gives hope, at least, that he could turn things around and become a very good player instead of just a solid one.

The Kings would have to throw in at least Hickson if not Jason Thompson to make it a fair trade, though.  Or else just not include Salmons in the deal.

Why not? Jason Jones tweeted Kings are looking to move Tyreke for a veteran to put them over. Only other target I can see is Danny Granger. Rajon Rondo fixes their ball movement problems and utilize Cousins into a 20/10 scorer

Rondo is better no doubt. But Tyreke can lead a team with the right pieces around him. He can be a top scorer IMO

In the 1st scenario, Kings are giving up 3 young assets and the Celtics are only sending one player of value.

Fredette may not be having a great season, but he's still a lottery pick; Hickson isn't playing great, either, but the Kings gave up an asset they valued to get him.  They aren't going to give away both guys as throw-ins.

I am ok with trading Rondo, but only if we get Chris Paul.  Otherwise, forget it.
