After March 1st,
Orlando trades: JJ Redick, Turk, Ryan Anderson, Dwight
Chicago trades: Deng, Boozer, Noah, CHA future first
So, Chicago essentially becomes the old Orlando Magic with Derrick Rose at PG instead of Jameer Nelson, plus a bench of CJ Watson, Redick (if Rip starts), Korver, Gibson, and Asik. Is there any way Chicago says no to this? This team would be dominant. The only problem I forsee is that they have nobody to guard Lebron now. But if that's an issue for Thibs, then they have assets (package Korver + Gibson) that they could easily put together for a Lebron defender.
Orlando essentially becomes the old Chicago Bulls with Jameer Nelson at point instead of Derrick Rose and a weaker bench. Not a great team, probably an 8th seed. But, they get 3 quality players who they could build around or trade, what's likely to be a good future draft pick, and unload Turk's contract.
To make this more appealing to Orlando, they could include J-Rich's contract in this deal and take back Ronnie Brewer's shorter contract.
