So I was thinking about this the other day:
We could use a scorer for the future, and some draft projections have Austin Rivers at around 18 in the upcoming draft... if he was there would Ainge take him? I think talent wise it's a no brainer, but I'm just curious what would be thought of a father coaching his son in the NBA. Has it happend besides the Karls a few years ago in Denver? Karl was clearly an end of the bench guy so that wasn't a big deal but I'd be curious to see it with someone who has All-Star potential like Austin Rivers.
Didn't Dunleavy coach his son?
