The good - Quis looked great.

Loved the energey of Bass and Wilcox; they aren't the most talented players but the give a lot of hustle with good agility and we've been missing that type of play in the paint for the pats few years (Perk Baby = no agility).

Moore is a great shooter.

The bad - Rondo still has no jumper (he was praticing them for a good 15-20 minutes prior to the scrimmage); while Moore was consistently swishing his open practice jumpers, Rondo's were all over the rim.

Looks like JO strained his oblique while going up for a dunk; he didn't fully elevate and grabbed at his midsection; then never returned to the game.

KG did not play at all; now we probably all read about Pierce's injury but there haven't been any reports on a KG injury; so not a good sign that he's holding up well and at 100%.

Dooling was complaining to the refs all night, in a scrimmage!  He was on Rondo for a good amount of the game.  At one point Dooling was bring the ball up hard and just plowed over Rondo before dishing it off, knocking Rondo on his back.  Rondo really got up in the refs face about no call.  I was kind of hoping to see some type of high five or knuckle bump between them.  But they just stood next to each other both obvously avoiding eye contact with each other.  I was in the secod row and this happened directly in front of me.  Not sure if there is some bad blood between them.

My own two cents from last night:

Was pretty upset at first with the way everything was set up. Was clearly geared towards kids this year. Last year, they didn't put on the dog and pony show at all. This year they had fan camera shots, music, and the whole nine yards. Last year it seemed more legitimate.

Chris Wilcox is a good player, never realized how much he fades away from the basket. That will become maddening for me personally.

E Moore was a pleasant surprise. I had never really given him much of a shot, not sure he will be a factor but certainly is deserved of his guaranteed contract.

JJJ needs to chill out on the jumpers.

Did not know the Greg Stiesma (sp?) guy was white, had no idea. Clearly an energy guy. He stood up on the bench after each basket.

Jermaine ONeal got either fat or jacked, or a combination of the two.

Keyon Dooling will be interesting to have out there with the starters. The guy clearly has a much bigger sense of entitlement than he should, given his career accomplishments (or lack thereof)

Brandon Bass was invisible to me. Which is fine, he will be solid regardless.

Avery Bradley has not yet evolved into what I really want him to be. He will not get meaningful minutes this year. I thought he and Marquis would be the "captains" of the bench squad, but Bradley is just too passive.

That's all I've got.
