Scrimmage Summary: The headband is back.  ;D

OMG REALLY??? This is huge lol. So he's rocking it right side up now? Rajon needs that headband its like if Pierce stopped rocking it it just didn't feel right last year.

Found more footage. The quality isn't great but appreciate the guy uploading for us who weren't able to see it. (I might be wrong but I think (s)he's still uploading more of the scrimmage)

Bass is way better than Glen Davis both in mindset and in skillset. I can't say I miss those long  jumpers now that we have this bulldozer under the rim.  Also, Wilcox is a great pickup.

And Rondo hit a jumper :D :D It looks slightly different. Smoother. Good sign?

'Quise looks really good. Didn't see much of JJJ in the footage but he didn't look too bad.

Avery Bradley was indeed a non-factor but would be interested to see him in different lineups.

All in all, great bench.

It's good to hear these things about our new bench guys.  I've always been a Wilcox fan.  When he puts in the effort he is hustler and banger.  Good to hear he performed well.

Also good to hear about Quis, I always liked his herky jerky game but no matter what he does or how he moves he is definitely always in control.  Good to hear he (currently healthy *knock on wood*) played well.

Avery better kick it into another gear or he egg timer is on his career.  Maybe some will believe this is a bit presumptuous to say, but the word out there is that Moore has passed him up on the depth chart.  Danny better unload him before the league truly finds out the kid just can't play.

JO hurt already?  Ridiculous.  This is the kind of thing that would amuse me if he were on another team.  Unfortunately he's ours.

I went to the open practice last year and other than Delonte, JO was the only player to do nothing.  Even Perk was riding the stationary bike.

I saw nothing tonight to change my mind that at best this season is a second round out.

You were expecting to see something in a preseason intra-squad scrimmage that would change your opinion of the team's outlook for the season?

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

It hurts seeing Delonte on another team but I think the Mavs will be good for him.  Seems like a strong organization with a healthy culture.

whoops, I actually meant to post this one.

And it is weird seeing Lamar and Delonte AND Vince Carter playing for the Mavs.
Dunno where Delonte fits in with Vince, Terry, Beuabois, Kidd...I guess Barrea is gone but Beuabois is back...

Pierce, Rondo, KG and in his own way Green have been hurt already too.  Ray is the only one of the C's top six players not to have a health issue before the first pre-season game.

At least Marquise isn't hurt yet!

I'm really rooting for MD this year.

the thing is, our bench on paper may have been better last year. but because of injuries and inconsistency they never could reach their full potential.

I think danny went for more durability this year...which would explain what seems like a lateral move from West to dooling...but dooling played 70games last year...delonte 24
