I think Paul has been dealing with some minor injury for the last couple of months. Lacks explosiveness in his game.
true. Imagine what kind of numbers Rondo would have he didn't have his foot and hamstring issues.

The same numbers he was posting before the hamstring and foot issues. Similar ones, at least. What exactly do you need to imagine?
Are you saying that Rondo is an exception to the rule you just created for Paul? Injuries have slowed down Chris Paul, but not Rondo?

Again, I didn't create any rule for Paul. I'm too old and tired to have this kind of mine is better than yours conversations. Couldn't care less about this kind of stuff, to be honest.

If you want to have a basketball conversation about Paul's play of late, feel free to let me know.

Anyone would be glad to have a basketball conversation with you if you'd just leave the crappy responses off the end of your comments. It's hard to judge inflection in a post, but it seems like you get defensive when people don't agree with you. In fact, when I replied about Rondo's injuries, I wasn't calling you out in what you said about Paul, in fact I thought you'd see eye to eye. Instead, your "what exactly do you need to imagine comment" is really jerky. Same with your original response to homericepisode, before you edited it. No one's attacking you dude, let's just talk--that's why we're here. Sorry if I offended you in anyway.

Before he left the lineup in November he was averaging roughly 11/4/16 with 2.7 steals.

In that case, I was wrong, I don't think those 16 apg numbers would be sustainable throughout a season. He'd put lesser numbers in assists. How many games are there in that sample? How many minutes was he averaging?

I, too think 16 assists would be too hard to maintain through 82 games. Do you think he'll still break Stockton's season avg record?
