I agree, it's going to be something to see come playoffs, when Rondo's going biscuits to the boundaries 40+ minutes a game.

As good as he is, i'd say he's only reached 65% of his potential offensively...if that. Give him 2 years and that highlight reel will be even more amazing.

Nice highlight reel, but there were moment in the GS game where Rondo pounded the ball for almost 24 seconds, then took a jumper (and missed).  As good as Rondo might be in a few years, he's just not quite there yet with his jumpshot.  With the 24-second clock almost expired, I want the ball in the hands of a better shooter (Ray, Paul or Kevin).

Are you saying that Rondo is an exception to the rule you just created for Paul? Injuries have slowed down Chris Paul, but not Rondo?

I really don't think Rondo's game will get drastically better in the future.

I think he will get stronger and possibly get to the line more when the Big 3 are retired.

But will he make more FT's, time will tell.

His scoring will go up by default, unless Danny can trade or draft for another star scorer/player.

Rondo will never be a 3pt specialist, but I think his mid range shot will come around--Jason Kidd and I think Tony Parker both had suspect jump shots when they came into the league. They both came around.

Well, it sounds like you are defending Paul's minor slip in production. That's kind of a double standard, don't you think? Saying Paul's numbers are down because he's nursing an injury but Rondo's would be the same if he didn't get injured? I guess you need to help us "exactly imagine"..

I have no idea if Paul's numbers are down and I couldn't care less about that stuff, if him or Rondo are leading in steals, assists, points or whatever. I don't give a [dang]. Is this clear enough for you?

I've been watching Paul playing and in the last month or a half and he's playing with less explosiveness. I just made a comment on that. It wasn't a "defense of Paul", that's just not the way I care about basketball or the NBA.
