imagine opo teams trying to score against our front line with
3 big strong low post beasts and two high flying, agile, perimeter capable, weak side shot blockers who love to D up.

when KG gets tired in comes his 21 year old doppelganger in training.

I really do not understand all the Anthony Randolph love on this blog.

Randolph is the Gerald Green of big men:  "If only Randolph could put it together, he'd be awesome!"  Wait a year, then repeat.  Continue for as many seasons as it takes til he's out of the league.

Unfortunately, we don't have the salary pieces to send to New York for Chandler, especially now that we cut LaFayette.

It wouldn't shock me if Chandler is the guy they're sending out to get the #1, though.

BBD and a pick for Chandler and Bill Walker works.

Oh crap...I think I just started another "bring back Bill Walker" thread...

I'm no capologist, but where are you guys getting the Chandler salary info from?  I see him here at just over $2M: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Wilson-Chandler-505/stats/

Couldn't Gaffney, the Wafer and a 1st work?  No need to give up the Immense Infant?

Randolph is 21 and put up 11/7 + 1.5 BPG in limited minutes. Who knows if the guy will end up an All-Star, but let's let the guy actually fail before we call him Gerald Green??

I'm a fan of Chandler's game but he is going to be a RFA next and IMO is going to get paid. Doesn't make too much financial sense.

The Knicks need a more valuable first round pick than what the Celtics have to offer to get Denver's attention.

At least top 20, preferably top 15 ... and top 10 to put them over the top.

-------------------------------------------------

To get a pick in the top 10 or top 15, the Knicks will need to trade Danilo Gallinari or Anthony Randolph. Not Wilson Chandler.

Chandler can bring them a pick in the low 20s or high teens. Not a pick that may be in the lottery.

The Knicks were linked strongly to the Rockets in previous days in a multi-team trade with the Nuggets where NY would have sent A.Randolph to Houston in exchange for one of their picks (T.McGrady deal) and some other assets to give the Nuggets what they want. Since this deal didn't go through at the time, it's unlikely to be resurrected in this specific form but I think something along those lines (A.Randolph for high draft pick) is the Knicks best chance at getting the valuable draft pick that Denver wants.

We can't trade Wafer or any other free agent until December 15 at the earliest.

I really like Chandler's game too but not for Baby. No way. People would really do that? We're gonna be relying on Davis. We gatta be all out for THIS year. I have no doubt Glen Davis will be an important part of our run. He's a load for opposing teams to deal with. Come on, guys.
