I wouldn't say crappy. Let's just put it this way -- LeBron James is the same height as Maxiell, yet he has won league MVP twice in a row. Reminds me of another 'big' from Detroit who had won Defensive Player of the Year a few times but was largely ineffective on the Cavaliers...Ben Wallace. Wallace is also the same height as LeBron, though LeBron is by far the better basketball player.

Wallace may well win more rings than LeBron.

I would trade for Tayshaun and sign Delonte just so I could have two guys that look like brothers playing at the same time.

Actually Tayshaun is a decent player when surrounded by better players so he makes some sense for this team.  Unfortunately he is an expiring contract and the Pistons should know that they can get more for an expiring young(ish) talent that should be fairly cheap next year. Then again it is Dumars so there is always hope.

I'd do this as:

Sheed's contract, BBD, Gaffney/Lafayette + 1st round for

Tayshaun Prince + 2nd round.

Sign Scal or another FA big man who can KG's backup until Perk comes back and he becomes the 5th big. Something that BBD would be anyway when Perk comes back in.

Sacrifices has to be made to WIN NOW. BBD is great and his energy is amazing. And I know it's good to have big men depth as our bigs are injury prone and Davis provides that. But i'd rather gamble that and rather hope that the bigs stay healthy but have a great backup in the SF for The Truth, than gamble and hope for Quis to stop LeBron James come playoff time. Not hating Quis, but Tayshaun I think would do a much better job.

There are still a number of quality bigs in the FA market, and Kwame Brown. Scal would be the best bet since he knows the system and not afraid to get physical as well, not as powerful as Baby though bat has range. Proceed with this and sign Scal, or Amundson, or Earl Barron or Kwame Brown for minimum as KG's backup and 5th big when Perk returns.

And we just upgraded our SF situation.

my opinion.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

If we were to give up Baby in a trade to get Prince, then I would hope that the C's grab Lou Amundson for the vet min as a replacement for Baby.
