Well I don't agree with that because I think Hinrich would make a great SG with this starting five and the upgrade of Thomas over Davis and Salmons as a back up SF would make a world of difference especially with the way Doc coaches and uses whole bench substitution patterns
But reasonable minds can agree to disagree on things like that
Yeah, I understand the disagreement.
I don't feel any need to improve the froncourt (KG/Perk/Sheed/Big Baby + Shelden, it's pretty stacked and many teams would kill to have such depth of big men), and I see a critical need in the froncourt so addition by substraction doesn't seem like the solution to me.
I'm not sold on Thomas either. Why do you think the Bulls have given up on him after all these years? He is a great athlete but his basketball IQ, and his work ethic are big weaknesses. He wouldn't fit on this team, in my opinion. He is way too inconsistent and his offensive game is limited.
And don't you think that we would seriously lack offensive firepower on the bench and shooters on the 2nd unit if Hinrich was a starter and we didn't have Ray anymore?
Edit : didn't see the part about Salmons. I guess it would improve our bench but I wouldn't be confident with Salmons as our primary shooter off the bench (besides House).
