A max contract for several more years for a guy that is, really, a second stringer, is a bit much baggage to take on to get a 3rd option offense/so-so defense player like Butler, don't you think?
Washington, even if it does blow everything up (no pun intended), will probably try to deal their top assets in separate deals, like we did separate deals for our high lottery pick to get Ray and Big Al to get KG, right? So Butler/Jamison deals simply arent going to happen, unless they get Chris Paul or something crazy that we just don't have to offer, right?
