Duhon has been positively horrendous this year to this point. AWFUL. I'll take a pass although I was an advocate int he summer. He's really regressed..

And AI destroying his legacy. First Memphis and now the Knicks? Just Retire AI..
I agree about Duhon.  I used to sort of like his game, but this year he's totally abysmal.

But I think AI would fit in well with the Knicks for this one season, insofar as anyone can "fit in" to chaos.

But I disagree with Chris: Duhon is so bad that I think he'd become a little-used backup if AI signed, and that they'd still go with Hughes/Chandler at the 2.

AI will start for the Knicks and I think he'll have an okay season, though he won't be all that remarkable and the Knicks will still lose a ton of games.

I actually think Iverson going to the Knicks wouldn't be such a bad idea.  Knicks is one of those teams that doesn't have a PG to develop, they're not necessarily playing to rebuild (as someone had mentioned earlier) and I think Iverson could actually help them win games in the D'Antoni system.  He'd be a scorer and the other players, such as David Lee wouldn't be much effected by it since a lot of his points comes from rebounds anyways.  I think Iverson could give them an extra 5-8 wins from their current team right now.  It wouldn't be much but more than enough to make the Knicks somewhat relevant again until next season.

We just won the division in November, The Nets haven't won at all, and The Knicks are going to sign Iverson to lead a group of players on a team that has NONE of them in its future plans.

AI + D'Antoni sounds really interesting. I am not an AI defender but I am a fan of his game. Game 1 of the 01' NBA finals sold me on AI for the rest of his career. And this "practice" thing was always overblown a lot of great players (who also have rings) hated practice.

Then let's go after Duhon.

I like this idea.

I like it too.  Just the other day AI said he was willing to come off the bench for a contender.  I guess he really doesn't care about winning anymore.  He used to care about winning.

He does care about winning, but only if his image is the beneficiary of it.  Iverson wants to be showered with praise and people to regard him as the great player he thinks that he is in his screwed up me first head.  Thats why I think this isnt just about him starting, he also wants to be the center-piece of the team.  Unfortunately for him, everyone in the free world except for him knows that this ship has sailed for him.  I honestly think if he was the 6th man on a contender, he'd still complain.  It's sad b/c if he'd just shut up and catch a ride on a real team and get a ring, he'd be able to put a nice cap on a statistically misleading career (IMO) and catch a seat in the hall of fame.

His legacy??   ;D ;D ;D Let's see...A barely literate selfish gunner who plays one side  of the court....And alienates  teammates and coaches.

The Knicks may be the only team where Iverson, by  being himself, might improve his image.
