Starters

bench
Wallace
Daniels
House
Davis
Scali
TA
Williams

D-league
Walker
J.R.

Hudson waived.
Why is Hudson waived?

Because he isn't going to be an NBA player.  Just another small SG project like Allen Ray or Pruitt.

Rather leave the roster spot open to add a real NBA player if one shakes out.
If one doesn't shake out before the season starts, why not take a chance?

For what?

To have a 15th warm body?

What's the point?

Unless there is a chance that the 15th contract handed out by the Celtics has a chance to actually contribute, why offer it?

Leave the roster space.  Every year, players shake out.  And with the economy the way it is, I don't see the trend ending.
He might be able to contribute in the future.  Especially with all the contracts disappearing from our team next year.  If we decided to give Walker and Giddens a shot, why not Hudson?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I like more leaving the spot open. We need a Brent Barry type more than we need a Lester Hudson.
