This is already being discussed in another thread.

You must remember this is coming from Hoopsworld.  Ainge would have to be crazy to take on Bowen at the expense of getting Daniels.

We are going to get Daniels no matter what; the only question is whether he comes here for the LLE or through a S+T.

Bowen would almost certainly be a minimum signing so the only thing affecting his signing here would be roster spots.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Mark Spears said that we are getting Daniels no matter what, I feel at this point he is one of the most trustworthy Celtics sources there is (if not the most trustworthy). I believe what he says.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I don't think their holding out, i think Larry doesn't want TA for Daniels straight up.

Yeaaa uhm no. I'd prefer to bring Wally Szczerbiak back over signing Bowen. And Bowen over Daniels is just so stupid its not even laughable.

To think that Bowen would be a better fit than Daniels is obsurd.  Despite being a defensive team we desperately need some offense to back up PP and Ray off the bench.  Bowen cant score anymore unless he's left wide open and to be honest, with TT and KG pushing him I think it would be pretty hard for Daniels not to improve his defense this year.  Daniels is younger, better, can create his own shot. MOST importantly, he is incredibly versitile and can play 3 different positions.

Lets try to get Daniels with a sign and trade, then worry about what we are doing with BBD and THEN maybe we can start thinking about bowen (I would still rather a true PG or a backup 7 footer)

he would fit well with our system... but he is totally unnecessary
