Let's make something clear: there are many players out there. A number of them are good players/prospects, like Belinelli.

The bottom line is, no-one is going to trade you good players for a pack of garbage (Well, I lied. Maybe Chris Wallace will). Allen + Pruitt is not going to do it. Neither will Allen + Pruitt + Scalabrine. Those will get you an average player who's not going to get any better, likely on a bad contract.

You are correct. Only a drunk manager would take what we have to offer. Dam you Chris Wallace. Its just that Marco is stuck behind plethora of guards in Warriors. It would be nice if we can clear space & try to land him. We'll have something to look for to, instead of watching that train wreck Tony Allen

The scenario that makes the most sense if the C's really like Belinelli is if they do a sign and trade with Baby going to Detroit (Boston sending some cash to Detroit to make it worth-while), creating a TPE.  Then using that TPE to absorb Belinelli's contract in return for a first round pick next year.

Chris, you seem deadset on singing and trading Baby to Detroit. Why?

I also try to start a "Marco Polo" chant when GS is in town...it never works.
God bless and good night!

TP... Brick I'd help ya if I heard that.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Just running with the rumor.

If Detroit really is going to offer Baby a contract that the C's may not match (which is a real possibility), I would prefer the C's got something out of it.

If the C's plan on actually matching for Baby, that's great, I just have my doubts they are willing to go over say, $3 million per year for him.
