it's hyserical to me too the way everyone wants to criticize arod for cheating on his wife. what percentage of pro athletes DON'T? 10 PERCENT? less?

I don't know what the percentage is.  Whoever does it is lame and deserves to be criticized, and A-Rod more than most.  Why? Because he is one of the game's biggest stars.  As a star you have to be able to take the good with the bad.  This is part of the reason McGuire gets criticized more than Palmeiro.
Celtics fan for life.

I'm not surprised at all.

It's just a matter of time before LeBron tests positive for steroids.

Ya know I always wonder about the NBA and steroids.   Lebron is a freak of nature so who knows if that's natural or not.

One NBAer I always thought was on roids though was Danny Fortson.  Not early in his career, but definitely later on (like when he played with Seattle).  Early in his career, with Denver, Boston, Golden State, off court that guy came off like one of the nicest guys in the world to me.  Then later in his career he came off like one of the biggest jerks.  I remember he was on Jim Rome after he left the Celtics, and Rome was trying to get him to talk bad about the C's and Pitino, and Danny wouldn't bite, he wouldn't say anything bad.  But later when he was in Seattle it seemed like he would trash anybody.  Also what about all the techs he got later in his career?  Seemed like a complete attitude change to me.  Makes me think of roid rage and the irritability that I hear often accompanies steroid use.  I thought he was maybe juicing so he could better bang with the Centers he was being forced to match up against.  Although he never get ripped muscle-wise, so it's all just speculation on my part, based largely on the attitude change (and that really could be anything).  Just my speculation.  Danny please don't come beat me up now  :-\

Remember, that's a picture of Fortson when he was 20 years old.  Look at a picture of Paul Pierce in college then a picture of him now.  I don't think those pictures do much.  Look at a picture of you being 20 then 30.  Your body naturally changes.
do it

Now that A-Rod has come out and admitted his steroid use, I'm going to lock this thread and lets keep the A-Rod talk confined to the "A-Rod admitted taking steriods" thread.
