when is/was the cutoff for this?
and on this line of thought, i heard mark jackson during tonight's game make a point regarding great stat guys on losing teams shouldn't be making the all-star game.
right when i began to agree with him i realized something...when we sucked for all those years, yet PAUL PIERCE was putting up all-star numbers. well, if PP didn't make the team how well do you think that would have been received here?
let's face it...there's only 12 slots, so someone has to be left off the team. ray allen was that guy and sometimes you just have to accept that.
It would be alot easier to accept if one team didn't get more all stars then the team that has the best record and has beaten the other team in every game they played against each other. It would be fine if it was 2 for the Celtics and 2 for Orlando. I can imagine though Cavs have to be upset to get only one.
Cavs only have one other player who can/should make the all-star game. Big Z and he's not healthy. The rest are all solid to good players, but not all-stars. LBJ is just so [dang] good he pushes them into elite status as a team.
