Quote from: Roy H. on January 07, 2025, 12:57:06 PMThis is just weird on my part, but I *love* every single type of pepper I've ever eaten, except green bell peppers (which seem to be the most popular peppers in America). For some reason, I find them to be nasty. Yet, I really enjoy red, yellow or orange bell peppers, along with any other pepper you can think of. Hell, I'll eat sauces made with Scorpions or Reapers, although that's more for the intense heat than the taste.I have a super-low tolerance for heat in my food?my wife likes to joke that ketchup is as hot as I'll go, which actually isn't far from the truth, lol?but I also have never understood the fascination many people have with eating super-spicy stuff. It seems to detract from the taste of the food, and being in pain is just unpleasant, and I don't know why people put themselves through that.

I will say, I tend to seek out the tastier stuff, rather than pure heat. But some stuff has both, like this Garlic Reaper sauce that I love. But, I have an uncle that is like you when it comes to spice. Even a very mild salsa causes him to turn red and sweat profusely.
