JR Giddens is going to be a solid NBA player. I see him as a great defender who is extremely fast and can get out on the break, as well as hit open jumpers.

Bill Walker on the other hand IMO is going to be an absolute star. Drop step post moves from a 3 where he finishes with a jam on a guy. He is looking to finish everything at the rim, with a dunk.

In the future I see us playing an uptempo style with Rondo racking up like 10 assists a game with a bunch coming from alleys to these guys and TA.
I can't wait to see these guys.  I remember watching Giddens back in his KU days.  Really, all I can remember was that he's athletic, and I never even watched any KSU games, so just going by what others say and the few YouTube clips of him I've seen.  He sounds very promising, though my ideal 3 would be about 6'8" and not 6'6", but still, if he's got the goods, he sounds strong enough to play the spot.

How's Walker's defense?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
The crazy thing about these clips is that it's after Walker used to be more athletic. :o

I love that his build will allow him to be a great finisher in this league.

He's built just like Lebron.

Walker has a lot of similarities with Powe. Both guys where late 2nd rounder that could have been lottery picks if they were healthy.

I think this year Leon was finally close to a 100% healthy and he proved that he was one of the better players in that draft.

Walker might take another year but I think we'll be saying the same thing about him.
