I think that Gibson is key for them, for sure. He was last year in their playoff run. Hoepfully he gets better soon.

This being said, the worst possible outcome of his injury from the celtics perspective is if they say Cleveland lost a key scorer...we'll get this game.

We need to come in tomorrow night like a mother bear with her cubs backed into a corner and absolutely stomp on Cleveland's throat.

I'm sorry, this is the playoffs...you don't kick teams when they're down, you stomp on their throat. You are stupid if you don't.

And don't think Cleveland not's going to feel like that mother bear either.

We better be "very" ready tomorrow night and make it physical and furious.

That's my pregame speech.

:)

Gibson being out, not him being injured, is just the start of good things to come, 1st road win coming very soon.

Snow will not be playing....he is most likely going to reitre due to medical reasons.

DJones shoots very well at home actually and should be a nice kick out target for Lebron.  It's on the defensive end that this will kill the Cavs.

Delonte better be ready for about 45 minutes of run tomorrow night

This could not have come at a worse time for the Cavs.   :-X

Here's to Boston coming out over confidnet and relaxed due to the fact that they know they can win game 7 at home.   :)

No, he's not dressing.  He is going to retire.  What cracks me up is the post said 'possible more Eric Snow' which implies that he has already played in this series.

Snow hasnt been dressing in the series and his yahoo! profile says as of Mid-March hes out with left knee soreness with a time table of 4-6 weeks.  I can see him dressing but I really cant see him playing or even being a factor, except if hes going to be a factor in our first road W.

When TNT showed the replay of Damon's arm getting sandwiched between two players going in different directions, I turned to my son and said "Separated shoulder, he's done for the series."

If anyone can find a link to the video, it's pretty obvious when you see it.

Rondo can single-handedly take this game if Doc's smart enough to see the opportunity.  Delonte is really their only player capable of guarding Rondo that isn't occupied elsewhere.  Rajon should open the game by going straight at Delonte.  If he gets in foul trouble, the Cavs play the game in a matchup nightmare.  Damon Jones can't cover Rondo.

1. I hope Gibson gets better soon...I admire and respect the way he plays.
2. If I were the Cavs, I would just have LBJ run the point while West is on the bench, and keep D Jones' minutes very limited. He is too much of a liability on defense. Maybe they'll play Pavlovic more at the 2?

isn't this the same Damon Jones who'd claimed to be the best shooter in the NBA? haha

well he still is (or was the last time i saw him) a good shooter, the problem is he doesn't belive in the whole defensive thing.

I mean, lets put it this way. sam is bad at defense, but he tries. Damon is bad at defense, and he could care less.

With Boobie out, do we see more Sam?  Doc should look to play Rondo 38 to 40+ minutes again.

We may actually have a Damon Jones sighting if Gibson is unable to go

This is exactly what I was thinking. I have to give Jones credit. He does a great job cheering during introductions and doing handshakes.

Honestly, you will probably see Devin Brown make an appearance.  He is a better defender than DJones.
