I still have doubts that they’re going to fire him. Though reading the board over the past 24 hrs has me a lot more optimistic about it than before.
Joe just seems really stubborn and unwilling to accept criticism. Factoring that into his ever increasing insecurity about his job, I don’t know how you could trust him to hire the right assistants to surround himself with. Hopefully Brad realizes this, and also knows he can’t pick his assistants for him. You’d be neutering him in front of a locker room full of players that already don’t respect him.
Last time we had a season end with this much dysfunction, Horford hi tailed it out of town that offseason. I’m sure there’s going to be at least one guy that wants out bc of this too, just hopefully it’s not one of the Js. (I could see Brown requesting a trade). But whatever it is, just deal with it and get a new coach in here and stop the bleeding
