Remember him well. Famous quote from Fran was "hes two years away from being two years away"

I think he's 6'7" shoes off with a 7'7" wingspan.  Just insane.  He's a lot less athletic than I remember,  but he's put on lots of weight so he does look like a big man now.

I'd be surprised if he makes the team. Seems to play lazy to me.  Played 23 mpg for the grizzlies is a short stint, other than that has barely played big minutes.

I didn't realize his athletism was gone. I guess I'm remembering him from his younger days. He does look more like a big now:

You see lack of athleticism, I see a guy playing more under control.  No need to try to jump through the roof every play when you have a 9’3” inch standing reach.

He looks less athletic and more like a big than I remembered. I haven't seen him in a game in a long time. His length is amazing.

He does look more like a big.  His body made a Kevon Looney like transition.

TP for the 9'3" measurement.  Now that you say that it got me thinking.  He's basically the same height as Timelord,  Timelords standing reach is 9'3" as well.

Williams has a wingspan of 7'5" while Brunos is 7'7"
The thinking may just be can we train this kid to backup Timelord for 10 to 15 minutes here and there.

Very similar and freaky body types, but nobody gets off the ground like Timelord.

Caboclo could be our next Tacko Fall in terms of popularity.  As for actual effectiveness on the basketball court?  Who knows.

At least he can't be worse than the french dancing bear and it's just a camp invite.  Show out or get shown the door.  7'7 arms are freakishly long though.

Yabu is actually pretty good I thought (during Olympics, and I think now plays top level Euro ball?)

I like Bruno. He is a good 3rd string PF. Long, active, athletic, plays defense & rebounds. Plays with energy. Useful guy to have at the end of your bench.

I do not understand why he is struggling for an NBA job. I understand struggling for minutes because he is not that skilled but he is a fine energy guy athlete at the end of your bench who can come in and play some defense and not kill you out there.

Isn't this the dude who was four years away from being four years away seven years ago or something like that?

9-6 in the summer league. Not exactly lighting the world on fire for a guy who's about to turn 27.

I don’t know, 9 points on 5 shots is a game is pretty solid when you’re a big relying on others to get you the ball.  Jared Butler was a ball hog, leading the Jazz with 12.8 points a game on a whopping 15.8 shots.

Celtic trading camp battle among backup 4/5’s is going to be intense!

I think I see enough length and athleticism to play in the NBA, not sure if I see enough skill or touch based on this short clip.  He set a lot of picks which is useful but I think he would pick up a lot of fouls in an actual NBA game.  He kind of leaned in or extended his hips at the end of the picks.  That will be a foul in the NBA.

Great candidate for a training camp look.

It does appear that he has lost his vertical explosiveness but I would also guess that he is 25-30lbs heavier then early in his career.

I really like his potential fit as back up to Rob. The way Rob defends close outs and protects the rim is very hard to emulate. Bruno is one of the few FA bigs who maybe able to play this style of D.
