And isn’t it evident that the Hayjays play great together? What a sight for sore eyes: the unselfishness, the ball movement, turning down a good shot for a better one. The thought of bringing in Drummond and having a constipated offense is depressing, frankly.
If he were some sort of defensive savant, and Boston were a mediocre defensive team, it might be worth a thought. But he’s not, and the Celtics are currently third in defense.
It doesn’t make sense to trade a better player for a worse player generally.
