But after sleeping on it, if you can get AD, you get AD. Tatum+Smart+Yabu+14th for AD? TAKE IT! If this trade happens we will have the best player in the East.
This is an accolade Kyrie just will never have. He’s EXTREMELY skilled, but so is Dame Lillard, Kemba Walker, John Wall (before accident) are all extremely skilled players that will never be MVP. Before Lebron went to the Cavs no one was sweating Kyrie. We wasn’t going against the Cavs and was saying “oh shoot we got to go against Kyrie again.” He was just a good player, but wasn’t making any playoffs, winning any games, and wasn’t making any all-nba teams.
My personal opinion is that Kyrie will not win another championship if he leaves the Celtics. Kyrie is like Lebron in which he can’t win unless he has many great players. They both don’t know how to turn their young talented teammates into great NBA players. If you’re not already a great NBA player your team won’t be successful with them. Now Kyrie is linked to the Nets and the Knicks... either move is not what he needs, Kyrie needs the Rockets or the Thunder. Those teams both have some great and EXPERIENCED NBA players already.
Now if Kyrie stays in Boston and the Celtics Trade for AD and Hayward becomes better, this is another place Kyrie would be best suited for. I really understand what Kyrie went through. I know what he was frustrated about, like I get it. His IQ was way higher than the team he was playing with. I’ve been in the position before so I understand it. Kyrie just needs to learn how to TALK to his teams mates. How to properly get them up to speed on how things should be. This is not something that he was born with. Sometimes leadership can be taught as long as you have the right teachers. Lebron is easily not the type of teacher you want to learn from because he isn’t VOCAL.
