I liked what PP said...Anfernee is my brother and it's a pleasure to play against him.  PP is the best.

Chicago's roster construction is absolute trash.  Their trades didn't make much sense.

Whatever Joe says to them at halftime is going to be important because this is the type of game that?s hard to maintain concentration given the ineptitude of the opponent

Celtics Talk / Re: When do you think Tatum makes his season debut?
« Last post by Larry for 3 on Today at 08:25:33 PM »
Tatum returning this season to a team playing much better than expected is very tempting and the possibility of a playoff run then very exciting.
But as I have said before, my ONLY priority for decision making is to add to our ability to win championships.
I think the best decision towards that end is to wait 'til next season to bring Tatum back.
Keep developing the young guys, find a way to significantly upgrade the center position and add a knock-down shooter.
I have always liked Queta and am happy to see him playing so well, but he needs to be our very solid backup and not attempt to be a championship starter.

If the Celtics add Tatum, they are contenders for a championship this season. Team is currently 2nd in the East.
I wouldn't go so far to say contenders for a championship.  contenders to come out of the East -- certainly.

If you make the Finals you are a contender.  Not a favorite, but you clearly have a chance.  Especially since OKC and San Antonio are led by stars with questionable injury histories.

It is shocking how many Celtics fans want to throw away and punt on a season. I mean OkC was the best team last year and you can make a strong case they should have lost the finals. I don?t get it.

When the guys are hitting their 3s (8/13) they are hard to beat.

They?re hitting every three because each shot is wide open as a result of some superb ball movement. Chicago is terrified of PP driving so they collapse on him every time he hits the paint and the shooters are all open
