Lets say all three opens are viable, but can only choose one

Which option do you like best and why?

Also consider which option would work best with current core and with CBS

Definitely Beal. He's the youngest, and IMO the best. Kemba gives up a lot defensively and is small, Middleton is tall and good defensively but is more limited on offence than Beal.

After Wall went down Beal absolutely tore it up.

Trading for Beal, because the other options require gutting the team.

You can't just ignore the actual reality of our cap situation
I'm bitter.

Beal. The dude has Celtic written all over him. Plus he's a lot better than Middleton and Walker and would integrate very well with Hayward, Tatum, Brown, and Smart.

Kemba and Middleton aren’t legit suitors and I really do not care for Beal so it’s a wash for me.

Interested to hear why you don't care for Beal

We don't need anyone under 6'9

Beal is on a team with alotta talent that goes nowhere

Don't like him and he seems like he has a nasty attitude...like most DC players.

Nice analysis

What the heck? What talent does Washington have? Bobby Portis? Jabari Parker? Sam Dekker? Thomas Bryant? They won exactly as many games as their roster suggests.

Not sure where the attitude comments come from at all. He sells things to the refs, but that can be said for half the league

So in this scenario we are letting Kyrie walk, Horford declined his PO and Hayward has been traded to free up a max slot? We need to know which scenario happens so we can decide which player to go after. I believe 2 of those 3 things have to happen to clear space for Middleton or Kemba.

In the event we go the youth route, Beal has to be the guy. Middleton is someone you bring in to support your stars. Kemba just doesn't excite me that much at this point.

In your scenario I'm assuming we haven't traded for AD.

That being the case, why bother?

Why give up assets or use cap space to trade for or sign a player who is not good enough to elevate the team to contention?

I'd rather just double down on youth.  Either the young guys turn into a contending core or you continue to stockpile assets for a few years until the next time a potential MVP talent becomes available.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Well Beal is the best player
Beal is the second best defender
BEal is the best offensive weapon
Beal is a capable PG.

So....Beal

Because i'm burdened with noticing things most people don't...and wish I didn't.

And that team last year should've accomplished way more than it did.

Wall basically tells the media he's gonna party all night because he's a grown man after an important loss and I don't want any player on that team if you follow them a little with their attitudes.

I hate that team...and if Kyrie learned his act from lebron, need I say more?

Did you happen to notice Washington trading half their young talent, and buying out other guys? Or did you happen to notice that they had two starters injured for the whole season?

Jeesh. I guess any guy that has ever played in a junior position to a guy with poor leadership skills must be a bad guy, right? Lunacy

I said last year's team, and it's way more than that but I don't wanna get into it.

But I guess if you want shooters when we have to many and no quality bigs, ok.

We just died by the smallball 3, so the plan is to get more of them.  That's what's wrong with this fanbase.  Illogical
