I voted Rozier and Yabu, but I’m all-in on an AD trade and wouldn’t blink at trading Tatum.

My keepers are Kyrie, Horford, Brown, Hayward. Everyone else is disposable.

This is where my head is at also.

I've waffled so much on Morris.  I think I'm back on the "keep him" train right now.
Right with you there. Was in on him at the start of the season, then got cold on him, and then he showed up for this series
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Ideally this would be Boston's starting 5 next season:

Kyrie
Brown
Hayward
Horford
AD

Kyrie, Rozier, Morris -- No hesitation.  Buh-bye.  I've seen enough and I don't want anymore.  Morris I will say was always a tough guy who seemed to work really hard and try to bring an edge, but I just don't like his style of play.  I know Danny Ainge loves to buy love and sell high on assets so I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to re-sign Terry given that he's not likely to have much of a market, and then flip him later.  Rationally I think that could make sense, but I hope we all get to move on.

Baynes -- I just think we need somebody less situational and more durable.

Yabu -- Not an NBA player.

Theis -- Too inconsistent for me; I preferred Jerebko, who could at least get hot from three.

Wanamaker
-- Not his fault but Brad never trusted him, so no point in having him.  He failed to replace Shane Larkin.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I want a core of Hayward, Brown, Smart, and Tatum. Everyone else can stay or go. I'd want Morris to stay but if we're going into rebuild/retool mode I doubt he would want to stay. Ditto that for Horford.

I explicitly don't want Kyrie.

I'm torn on Rozier. I have no idea what went on in the locker room. Is he as entitled as some on here believe? Or is it pride and belief that he could have helped this team more if he was allowed to? I also don't believe teams need ball dominant PGs anymore, especially when we have 3 or 4 Wings that can also handle and pass.

I voted Terry, regardless of whether we keep Kyrie or not, and it seems I'm not alone.

Terry is purely an athlete who can barely dribble, can't get his own shot, and does not have good court vision.  Basically he's a non Point Guard who plays Point Guard.  And he has too many stupid defensive decisions.  He is however a good rebounder from that position.. that's it in my opinion.

As others have stated, if there is a deal for Davis and Davis wants Kyrie here, then I'm good with keeping Kyrie.

Actually Terry can get by anyone with a floater in the lane if he can't go all the way.

Obviously Brad preaches he not do that because Terry does that comfortably.  Terry is alot better than he was allowed to be.

Can GS do a sign and trade of Klay Thompson for GH and perhap Brown if they so insist?

Its probably unpopular but Klay is hinting thathe is fed up of being third banana to Steph and KD ...And Haywardis so frustrating right now I want him out for a bag of chips.

I love Klay but that's a horrible trade.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Rozier - He's legit Reggie Jackson 2.0, on the court and in the locker room. Let him go to a place that'll "invest him in all the way" as he wants.

Hayward - I know, I know. Injury. But I've lost faith in him. Sorry. He wasn't PG before the injury and I don't expect him to have PG like return.

Yabu - It's just time.
2021 Houston Rockets

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Yabu is the most mystifying player. Has he improved in like, any single aspect??

I think at this point, he's a waste of a draft pick.... He's seen less minutes, and contributed less.

Stone hands Baynes with the solid lock for third place on the polling. I voted for Irving, Baynes, Rozier, and Morris (although I could easily be convinced to keep Morris too). I didn't vote for Hayward as we are stuck with that mammoth failure of a contract. You can't control injuries though. Possibly Hayward with an entire off-season to get in shape and new team make up next year can increase his contributions (and stats!).

He's one of those who's never talked about in a bad way, and quite frankly, he's gotta go with Rozier and whoever else.

I haven't forgiven Danny for taking him ahead of LeVert!

Rozier - too much of a ball hog
Theis - with so many finesse players on the team, I’d rather get a bruiser for his roster slot. Plus, he always seems to be committing bad fouls
Yabu - useless
Tatum - too many talented wings on this team. I’d like to see him in an AD deal
