I've found an interesting nugget in John Schumann's article about the upcoming series:

Marcus Morris has taken only eight percent (3/41) of his shots in the restricted area. That's the fifth lowest rate among 111 players with at least 25 shots in the playoffs and down from 21 percent in the regular season.

That just confirms what we've all been seeing with him. I like him going to the rim, because he's strong and patient enough to get a good shot up and grabs his own misses quite a few times. I just don't understand his shot selection...

Oh and another thing - the bucks shot 95-127 (74.8%) in the paint versus the Pistons. Crazy.

I just hope Brad has a short leash with him/rozier against the bucks. Last series so many times he let the other team in by taking poor shots.

Its nice when they are going in like game 1 and early in the season. But otherwise it is painful to watch.

I'm just hoping that Morris will provide some level of consistency with the jumper.  Some games will be better than others, but let's hope he can avoid the sub 40% shooting nights with no free throw attempts.  Milwaukee really packs the paint, so they will have no problems giving Morris mid-range shots.  He needs to take advantage of these situations when he has a smaller defender on him.

Aside from that, he needs to keep the ball moving and stick with the catch & shoot open threes.

Morris is what he is. He loves the mid range to outside shot and is streaky.

Against Indiana he had one awful game, but three very good to excellent games. He shot:

Game 1: 5-12 from floor and 3-8 from 3 for 20 points
Game 2: 0-8 from floor and 0-4 from 3 for 0 points
Game 3: 4-8 from floor and 2-4 from 3 for 11 points
Game 4: 7-11 from floor and 2-4 from 3 for 18 points.

streaky and sometimes moody .  I like him way better than Rozier ...who flat out has his own agenda , team second

When he is really engaged and hitting  he makes a good difference.

This version of Morris is incredible! He was only taking open shots and he was passing on the move at exactly the right times. It's almost as if during the regular season, he wants to get 'his', but knows that in the playoffs you need to play to win. Today, Morris played winning basketball on both ends.
