Last year we were 10-1 at home, but just 1-7 on the road during the playoffs.

The young guys understandably seemed to get rattled on the road especially when the other team gained momentum in close games late. Rozier was phenomenal during last year's postseason run, but while he was great at home, he was mediocre in all but one road playoff game.

That’s where I feel having the veteran experience and skills of Hayward and Irving really helped us last night and should help us in the future. When we blew the 15 point lead in the first half, we could have easily folded the rest of the way, but we didn’t.

Hayward wasn’t that great last night, but I still thought he made some great plays facilitating, and he made a huge tip-in late in the game to extend the lead and essentially ice the game. And of course, Irving was Irving for much of the 4th (as usual).

It's encouraging to see the Jays also contributing well and to do it on the road last night was big. A big confidence-booster if you ask me (especially for Jaylen).

Hopefully GH & KI can stay healthy and continue to make an impact going forward. Without home court advantage for the next few rounds, we're obviously going to have to play some of our best basketball on the road as well if we want to make a run to the Finals.

But first things first, close out THIS series preferably by tomorrow afternoon  8)

I would not read too much into one game, but I will say that last night's game was a typical road loss for this team during the regular season:  come out strong, crap 2nd quarter, other team goes on a run, fans get into it, and there is no counter punch.

The difference has been the defense, being able to hold the Pacers back while the offense grinds for an answer.  I will assign a lot of this to the Pacers simply not being as good without Oladipo, but it is still encouraging to see the effort.

As I keep saying... we will see next series. At this rate we have won the same amount of home games this playoffs as we did last year. Let’s see if we can get the sweep or not. Even though that won’t mean much because... it’s the Pacers... we are supposed to sweep them.

The difference between having a go to guy and not is apparent in this series. The pacers have many talented role players but they fold down the stretch. Bogdanovic can’t create his own shot when it matters. Meanwhile, our experience and talent shines when it counts.

Oh the Celtics will be in for a rude-awakening when they will have to deal with Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez, Eric Bledsoe, an occasional Ersan Ilyasova, and the return of Malcolm Brogdon. It's gonna be a blood bath.

And we ain't even talking about the Raptors yet, or if ever, this season should the Celtics make it far.

so many people ready to anoint the Bucks as champions for the next decade. buck, buck, bucks bucks bucks.

All I know is Celtics already beat the bucks in the playoffs, until the bucks beat the celtics, the celtics are better.

This team has more championship experience, better defense, grittier, know how to win in the playoffs...the bucks know how to stand around and jack three pointers and Giannis knows how to travel every trip up the floor.

Detroit is garbage against them because they have no capable wing defenders at all.

We will be a much different story.

Stay at home on all the shooters and make dare giannis to shoot.

This post is so ironic that I don't even know what to say.

I'll just say that Euro-step everyone does now is in fact a travel, but they've changed the rules to make it easier for offenses, because the "modern nba" sure does need it.  Matter fact I never see them call travel when a guy takes 3 long steps now. Before if you even dragged your foot on 2 steps, it would have been a quick whistle.

And like our wing defenders have stopped one 3 point attempt since October :)  Or like we don't shoot more 3's.

But posters on here HATE the truth...and if Al played like Giannis, then you would be ready to retire his number already.

Every series is it’s own entity.  The bucks are handling their business, as are the Celts.  Last year, the sixers looked so great in the first round that they almost got swept in the second.

Taking Morris out of the starting lineup has really helped.

I see Morris bailing them out time and time again...I do NOT see what you guys see.

Atleast I can see eye to eye with Brad on that.

This describes it all actually. Once you guys make up your mind about something, you no longer see anything else except your mantra

I think a season ending injury to Pacers best player has played a part in C's winning on the road this year.

Yeah, he really bailed them out in Game 2 with that fantastic 0-8 shooting  :P

He's done really well in Game 1 and Game 3, but once he starts going purely-iso it kills the progression of the team on offense. He's better suited to help off the bench, not with the starting group.

If there's one thing I wish CBS did, it was try to NOT have Rozier AND Morris on the floor together. I feel like that's where a lot of the bad things happen. Have one on the floor while the other sits. I know that can't happen all the time but don't have them both out there for long periods of time.

No one touched him he just play way over his limitation and busted his own leg, it's not sustainable anyway

Maybe. Maybe not. Even with Oladipo the Celtics blew out the Pacers at home and only lost by one point on a three by Oladipo with 3 seconds left at Indy. Even with Oladipo, I think Indy would have been a good matchup for the Celtics.

lol.

We have won all three games with Morris coming off the bench. Why the person attack?
