Warriors went 57-25 in the regular season, about 10 losses too many. They coasted.
Today they lost both the game and DMC. In a record breaking manner.
KD hasn't finished a playoff game yet and looks a bit emotionally unbalanced ATM.

If this loss doesn't wake them up, I don't know what will.

It would be hilarious if the Warriors lost in the 1st round. KD not coming back would be pretty much at 95% lol
And then, he joins Clips in 2 months  ;D

The likelihood is that the Warriors win this series 4-1 and that's what I expect.

But the OP is right. The Warriors aren't focused and a hungrier team with some real talent could definitely knock them out in any of the next rounds.

Imagine if he'd been aiming for the Clippers this whole year, and GS loses to them in round 1.  He pretty much can't go to LAC then, can he??

This sort of loss seems completely in character with the Warriors team this year.

I am bummed about Cousins injury. Just sucks.

I predicted Houston would beat them in the 2nd round, and still feel that way.

Rockets just have to stay healthy. If CP3 doesn't get hurt in Game 5 last year, they're in the Finals.

I didn't know how badly I wanted this to happen until now

This is a beatable team. They almost got beat last year in 2 different playoff series where if a shot or 2 could have changed the outcome and eliminated them

This year they look vulnerable

Whats two playoff series? Houston sure, but nobody else took more than a game form them.

No one but Houston has taken more than 1 game from them since KD joined the team!

I do think they're more fragile this year than last, but that's largely a chemistry feeling from me with the KD weirdness.

So long as they have Curry, KD, Klay healthy they're beatable only by themselves.  Which could happen.  Almost did last year.  But nobody else in the league can match that combo if they aren't getting in their own way.

Might be referring to when Zaza took out Kawhi? But that was before KD so...

What do you mean? Isn’t the “can’t beat em? Join em!” KD’s signature move?

Cousins loss will probably be a net gain for the Warriors. Not sure what his on off court stats are like but in games I have seen, the Warriors just appear to be a better team without him.

They'd been playing a lot better with him lately.  +78 over their last 11 games in the regular season.
