If anyone thinks I'm surprised by D'Angelo Russell evolving into an all-star, you need only to see my supremely sarcastic post back in 2016:

"32 points for D'Angelo Russell tonight in a sad glimpse of what could have been.  Tragic that the 20 year old had his career cut short by hackers leaking the video he took of Nick Young during their prank war.  Really a shame.  He could have been a pretty good player. Sad it's over.  It's a shame his teammate Kobe Bryant couldn't give him some sage advice about salvaging a career after a rape trial.  Unfortunately, it's much easier to come back from rape allegations/pubically cheating on your wife than it is coming back from a leaked snap chat video that allegedly broke a bro code.   I wonder if he can get a fresh start in China like Stephon Marbury. "

we are now supposed to believe this was sarcasm?

Shhhhh
He’s gotta feed his own ego. No one will do it for him

Looks like pretty clear sarcasm to me...
Yeah, can't really see it as anything else either

Oh, I totally agree that the re-quote is sarcasm.
But the post itself is just an unprovoked “look at me! I knew it!”

Which is funny, as he is a poster (in)famous for being wrong.

Amir Johnson got fined for using his phone at the bench.

76ers about to lose this locker room. Brett Brown ain't happy.

He was reportedly checking on his daughter who was sick, so I'm not going to hold it against him really. I do think the comments by Simmons after the game is what's really going to make things ugly for PHI. It'll be awkward to see how the fans react in Game 2, especially when Simmons is shooting FTs  :P

That OKC-Blazers game was amazing. Kanter had a monster game. What a pickup he was for POR.

Meanwhile, apparently Blake Griffin is OUT for Game 1, so yeah... I think MIL will have no trouble winning Game 1. In fact, just 3 minutes in they are already up 15-4  :P

No joke, but Giannis might reach a double-double in just 7 minutes. Pistons have no answer for him especially with Griffin not playing  :o

I saw them laughing and giggling so not sure  ???

The Simmons one is bad, too. Hope Brooklyn upsets them. Would be funny to see the Big 4 touted 76ers get bounced in Round 1, after all the Finals hype and expectation talks from them.

Still have a ways to go before the 2nd round but I take some comfort in Zach Lowe saying that the Celtics don't fear the Bucks match-up.

I'm not sure what the solution is though. Giannis is too good now to just let him get his and stop the other guys - he's going to beat you himself. The other guys are good enough at shooting that if you swarm Giannis, they'll make enough.

Bucks are basically the LeBron-Cavs one-man show, where Giannis is the LeBron and the players around him are the hit/miss typa players. Neutralize them and just let Giannis go off

That should be game plan. Let Giannis get his 30-40 and 15 but never leave their shooters. Slow grind it out style.

Rockets look like poised title contenders.

That is why I have them as the dark horse to come out of the West, and win NBA championship.
