I haven't seen Wannamaker play meaningful minutes before tonite. Wow - it is so refreshing to see a PLAYMAKING point guard.
Rozier and Irving are not playmakers - this team is much smoother with Wannamaker - maybe put Irving at the 2-guard ??
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

We're going to get the 100% Hayward by next season.  That's reason enough to be optimistic.

Wow, Indy looks completely disjointed and like they've given up on this game already.

They’ve really taken Bogdanovic out of the game he’s 1-8 with 4 pts

That's what happens when a team doesn't have a superstar.

When it gets rough, teams without stars to go to ends up getting disjointed.

who would have thought this team could actually have a second and a third quarter that not only didn't result in them coughing up a lead but they actually built on the lead in each quarter.  hope this is the trend through the playoffs because I'm really tired of those leads getting coughed up

I like Wanamaker.  He just keeps it simple and knows his role.  Allows Hayward and others to operate to their strengths more.  Sure as hell beats watching Rozier dribble the life out of the ball and jack up stepback 3's.

That last play, where he recognized the shot clock and pulled the ball back out says all you need to know. True PG play. Rozier would've launched a 3.

I was about to post something similar to both of these. Man, if only Rozier could do this.

I think Brad has done Wanamaker - Irving on the court at the same time briefly. We'd probably see it more I feel Wanamaker played more

Wanamaker has a much lower ceiling than Rozier, but also a higher floor IMO.

For this team, give me the steady presence.  We already have the explosive players.  Just need somebody willing to play the setup role.

In the playoffs, the Bogdanovics of the world don't win playoff games.

It's the likes of Kyrie, Durant, and Curry that win playoff games.
