This is a lot like the 12-13 season in that i'm enjoying the mediocrity and national scrutiny of the Lakers far more than i'm enjoying the Celtics. Not a great thing, but still, there are few things I enjoy in this life more than watching the Fakers fail.

IKR we were/are on a slump too.

The Lakers are just in a bigger slump of their own.

That season was weird. It was like we knew we weren't going far or making it past Round 1, but we lasted longer than the Lakers.

Down 0-3, and nearly tied the series 3-3 against the Knicks. Win that miraculous Game 4, win Game 5 at MSG, and then C's were on a 18-0 run to cut that blowout lead to like 4. That spelled the end of the Big 3 era.

The Lolakers got swept and Howard pouted on his way out.

Lebron carelessly hitting the back of the backboard while inbounding the ball.

Switching between GS/Philly and the Lakers/Suns last night and I have to say the Lakers have zero chance at making the playoffs. What an ugly team. They just look awful. The one guy that is actually playing good is Ingram but man LeBron had a chance to cut the deficit to 3 with a couple free throws and he misses them both. He and the Lakers just look ugly.

I’m still sickened and disgusted that Lebron is a Laker.  Team isn’t going anywhere this season, but if Leonard or Davis join LBJ next year, Lakers are going to leap to contender again. Lebron still looks great pretty dang good to me. I think Father Time is granting his 2nd favorite son a few more years.

Zero chance Kawhi goes there. I think most non-Klutch guys want to avoid the circus.

pretty close to Zero .  He likes his rap boys ,  Toronto is a big city ,  he is king there and he may Win a title there and they ll pay ya max ..  To go to the Laker circus with Magic and Bron seems like a nightmare .   He has a home in LA , he can stay in the off season.  I think Paul George figured this out , just like KG did with Boston.   You can have your cake and eat it too...and NoT have to play in the city of LA.

Once / if AD gets to BOS he will eventually figure out that this is the best place for him.

It is quite unlikely - to ME, at least - that AD and a then-36 YO LeBron James can effectively challenge for banners..

LeBron James will STILL be an Elite Player at 36, no doubt - but he will have considerably LESS games where he will take over and be dominant.

Anthony Davis will have his hands full...he will have to carry LA on MANY nights..

Guess who the horse could be in this pic - if AD goes to LA - and guess who the load is.

I hope the young man makes an educated choice - free from glamour and promises of glitter - and makes the prudent choice for himself.

Well said I don't see Kawhi going to LA either he just doesn't seem like the type of guy who wants to jump into drama and LA is full of drama...

The fact that the Clippers Lakers and Kings also share on building isn't appealing to.

Toronto is a top 5 city in the world let alone North America if you have MONEY Toronto is amazing and your right hes king there everytime he goes to the foul line they scream MVP

Toronto is a really nice city, but as far as media/marketing exposure in American markets is concerned, it might as well be Siberia.  Also, Canadian taxes are crazy high, even compared to California.  And it's cold as heck.

Kawhi is a SoCal native, and ultimately may simply just want to play in his home state.  Or maybe not, who knows.  Some people prefer the media exposure and attention that comes with playing in a city like LA.  Other people prefer the more laid-back nature of playing in an unassuming city with little media exposure like Toronto.
