You're right, his stats this year actually aren't that bad.

But I have to think that most of what he's played is garbage time.

In the 4-5 Grizzlies games I've watched this year he seems to play similarly to when Baynes plays.

It's too late now.  I suggested signing him here a few times before Memphis did, but everyone seemed to think he was cooked.

You're right, his stats this year actually aren't that bad.

But I have to think that most of what he's played is garbage time.

I guess you could make the argument that the ALL Memphis minutes are garbage time at this point, but he is averaging over 22 mpg over his last 10 games.   That said, I just don't see how he becomes available at this point.  Memphis signed him with no plans of competing this year.

Bringing someone in from the outside to get in someone's face would be a disaster.  Baynes is the energy, rebounding big that will be back soon.  I agree the team needs a jolt.  Kyrie looks tired (physically and mentally) and wish he had time off over the all-start weekend.  I agree with others that state CBS needs to make lineup changes to shake things up and get people to have to earn their minutes again.

This is flat out silly. 25 minutes is "major minutes"? Seriously? For real? Twenty five minutes?

Besides All-Star break is a full week, he played 25 minutes in one game, one day - who's to say he didn't get treatment the rest of the week. Gordon Hayward didn't partake in any ASG festivities but he still managed to sprain an ankle and miss a game.
