unfortunately

Celtics like the Lakers eventually will need to choose

Fire the coach?  trade away some of the young players?

I can't see Walton staying as coach the day the Lakers are considered eliminated from the Playoffs.

I don't see the same trouble for CBS

But I do see the way things are going, Irving is out the door

And throughout all of this... Danny is undecided, praying everything comes together

Danny is like trying to attend multiple events in one evening..... its just not decisive/quality

Well he is right, Many players on this Lakers team has never been to playoffs or for that matter, had a 500 record in the regular season. Experience is not at the top of their resume for sure!

Why did you go to LA if you wanted to win now then LeBron? Just another star of today’s league that’s wants their cake and to eat it to. I can’t stand all the two faced superstars of today. There is no patience only buddy buddy AAU teamups.

MONEY .   Endorsements.....hollywood movie spots .....talks for money .....everything about money .  He only buddies up with other famous people .  Lots of Liberals to snuggle up to.   mainly money and future of money he ll make after he retires.

Yes he could have taken a number of teams in smaller markets to the finals .  If it was just about rings .  He is already in hot water for say n in public he has got it all ,nothing left for him to accomplish. This set off a fire storm with LA fans . He quickly retracted witha staement say n he wants to bring a title to LA.  He even forgot what he is supposed to be doing for LA , besides sucking in all their money

i also think he under estimated his and Lakers ability to attract super stars at a whim . And the time required to put together such a team to beat GS .

He looks less athletic every game and low energy ,  NO defense ....he just doesn't have it in him to play much defense anymore at all.

Even if they didn't attract any superstars, where the Lakers really went wrong was letting Julius Randle and Brook Lopez walk when both played a pivotal role in their breakthrough last season.

It would have been excusable had both been paid top dollar, but both are currently getting paid just a tick over $12 million combined because everyone was conservative with their money last summer. LA had Lopez' bird rights and Randle was a restricted FA. They absolutely could have and should have kept them around for at least this year.

They are fighting for their playoff lives and got whipped by the Anthony Davis less Pelicans.  It was an embarrassing game for them.  what's weird is they didn't play particularly bad, especially offensively.  They just got out 3'd.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

In a way, you could probably see where Kyrie get some of his "arrogance" from and the belief that he can call out the young players and others like he did early in the year while we were struggling. From Lebron of course.  ::)

Don't forget, Kyrie was also put on the trade block by Lebron and so he ultimately decided to leave Lebron on his own, and then Lebron recently put the entire Lakers squad on the trade block for AD.

Lebron may be the best player in the league now but it's laughable to suggest he's a team player.

Also, if we see FA's pass up on the Lakers this summer as well, then that may be a reflection of Lebron actually not being a guy a lot of folks are "willing" to play alongside. (Trading is a different scenario, and using his Heat days is not valid since he joined up with his buddy Wade)

After watching Lebron's "highlights" against the Hawks, he should NOT be talking.
He literally gave a close game away.
